I am a new blogger, just trying for the millionth time to get myself to write as much as possible, about as little as possible. The kind of work I do tends to prevent me from writing about my work. So I imagine I’m writing mostly about my family life (consisting of two children, 6 and 3, and one husband of 16+ years, and my mother, who lives down the road) and the conundrums that keep me up at night. I am a judge and a professor and work with lots of people in very different places in their lives. Sometimes the juxtaposition is more than I can stand, so I plan to vent after reading the many wonderful blogs out there written by interesting and funny people who do the same.
